Russell Case

Russell was introduced to the practice in 1994 by Suddha Weixler while studying at the Art Institute of Chicago. After graduating he lived in South Korea undertaking self practice. In 2001 his mentor in Texas, Sharon Moon told him to find a strong teacher, "someone who will humble you". He was introduced to Mysore style teaching with Guy Donahaye in New York City. After some time Russell was invited to apprentice under Guy for two years. This culminated in study with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and his grandson Sharath Rangaswamy. He returns to Mysore annually.

Sally Evans

Sally was introduced to Ashtanga yoga by Sharon Moon while working on the island of Skyros in 1999. To her delight when she returned home to the UK she discovered Hamish Hendry upstairs from the HIV charity where she worked. With his encouragement she has travelled to India to study with Guruji every year since. She is currently practicing intermediate series under Guruji's guidance and has received his blessing to teach.

When not involved in practice Sally teaches students on A level Sociology and Politics programmes. She is also involved in support work for HIV/AIDS organisations.
